What are the pre-installation requirements for the 980-50/985-50?
The unit requires a cold potable water supply (30–70 psi), a dedicated 120 VAC/60Hz/15 amp standard electrical circuit within 6 feet of the machine (no extension cords), and a drain (a floor drain is recommended, or a pump can be installed up to 50 feet from the machine to a sink drain). The 980-50 needs 73”h x 21”w x 24”d of floor space and the 985-50 needs 40”h x 21”w x 24”d of countertop space, plus ventilation clearance.
