How does the reverse osmosis process work?
It uses four stages of filtration: a sediment filter removes large particles like dirt, sand, and rust; a pre-carbon block filters dissolved compounds like chlorine; the RO membrane removes molecules heavier than water such as sodium, lead, dissolved minerals, bacteria, and fluoride; and a post-carbon filter polishes the water.
What is the difference between the 75 and the 79?
The 75 produces up to 80 gallons per day with a 3-gallon storage tank, while the 79 produces up to 150 gallons per day with a 10-gallon tank for higher-volume needs. They are sold separately.
What contaminants does the system remove?
It removes particles above 1/500,000th of an inch (0.05 microns) and eliminates organic molecules that can impart off-tastes and odors, along with dissolved solids like sodium, lead, minerals, bacteria, and fluoride.
Can I fill bottles and containers easily?
Yes. Both systems are available with an optional 8.5” gooseneck spigot for easy access and container filling.
