University’s men’s lacrosse team scores new hydration solution

The story

Lacrosse coaching staff and athletes from an Ivy league university located in New England were struggling to meet their hydration demands with weekly 5-gallon water jug deliveries, which could be around 8 – 10 a week. This high demand for water deliveries was made more apparent when the deliveries were often late and/or missing. Additionally, this university’s sports facility houses multiple sports teams, making space in the locker rooms a premium.

Without much room for storage, bulky water jugs were haphazardly stored throughout the locker room, hallways, and even in the bathroom, leading to the potential for off-the-field injuries.
